Origin of Jesus – Part 3

As sons of the Living God, we are summoned by heaven to boldly witness to all the things that we have seen or heard.  Any man or woman of God, prophet, and apostle, upon their occasion of witnessing something of the glories of heaven, will agree that heaven's glory eclipses any glory we see on the earth.

All attest to the same reality of the sheer magnitude of the glory of God, those who have wrestled with reality of the breadth of the glory of God are never the same.  With the anthem of heaven ringing in their sacred ears, they seek to tune their ears to hear His voice.

The intense struggle to know God then becomes the front and rear guard of our saving faith. Heaven is our goal and our reward, if we are at the place where we can garner just a small glimpse of heaven's glory in our pursuit of knowing at deeper level the person and work of Jesus of Nazareth, if this desire to know God is in us at all it will animate us to continue forward on to the state of being forever in the Glory in which He dwells at the right hand of the Father.

If you take the time to meditate on the life and experience of any man or woman of biblical history, those who were led to speak for God, those who have seen the Lord of Glory, in each of cases you will discover each man or woman has a firm grasp on the profoundness of the call to be found faithful and complete their assignment to present the Truth of God's message of salvation. They will sense that their entrance into the glory depends on the accuracy of their presentation.

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." Gal 1:18

The revelation of God in Christ is indomitable.  Unmitigated in its purity. Its steel is of its unpretentious truth. All the glory contained moves our hearts upward and onward toward the very face of God.

----

Now we enter the personal side of this discussion.  The same power that resided in Christ Jesus, rests inside your heart today, if you have trusted exclusively in His work of dying on your behalf and being raised for your justification. In this exclusive exercise of your will to Christ, the same Spirit that quickened His mortal body from death to life, resides in your heart and life today.  That is, if you have confessed with your mouth and believed in your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  The confession that Jesus is the Son of God makes or breaks your destiny, we live or die by rightly understanding the person of Jesus and by our public confession of that knowledge.

I Jn.5:1, Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ -- is born of God and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.”

Could He be the Creator of all that is in heaven and earth and not be God in all of HIs entirely?  Yet scripture plainly states that Jesus is Son of God.

Mt. 17:5, “...and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, 'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, Hear Him.”

If He was born of God, how could He at the same time be the incarnate God?

Now I want you to pause with me and settle your anxious mind and with me lets move our attention backward to the creation of Adam.  The first man, Adam, was made in the sacred and holy design of the G-d the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, Our Christ, was there at the point of creation. Not as Jesus but as the Christ, otherwise there would be no creation like unto the likeness of the first Adam. As the creator of the universe, but primarily in the creation of man, Our Christ knew that one day He would occupy that same flesh formed from the dust of the earth He was to make by the word of His mouth. Without that understanding there would have been no Adam.

Just as Adam was made perfect, so was Jesus made perfectly inside of Mary's womb.  It was if the “time” clock had been turned back to the very same point that the G-d created Adam.  Because Jesus was in an amazing creative action working as the co-creator with G-d, He is author of all things in heaven and in earth, He, our Messiah, and our Jesus, is able to unravel Satan's plans to destroy humanity's destiny as heirs of G-d's promises to His Son and as co-governors over all creation.

This battle for supremacy with Satan rages on, we will win as we
appropriate the reality of His bodily resurrection, which is ours by faith, and by continually accessing His victory over death and applying this power daily to our human experience.

By taking on the form of a man, the form of a bond-servant, Our Lord Jesus accomplished a perfect redemption of His people.  Where Adam failed us, by submitting to the lies of Satan, in our destiny to inherit our authority with G-d the Father, Jesus would perform the resurrection of our lost state and succeed in obeying all of the revealed will of the Father by willingly living a perfect life of obedience and then choosing to lay His perfect life down into the arms of the Father.

The Word says that He put one form aside to take on another.  It does not say that Jesus changed nature or quality as Divine, but His form!  We too must understand what we “really are” as humans.  We are not just bodies but spirits that have an eternal destiny.  Souls that must be spiritually redeemed from our dead fleshy bodies.

Phil. 2:6-7, “who being in the very form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with G-d, but made Himself of no reputation, taking on the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of man.”

Jesus put off His form as ultimate authority in heaven, and in God Father essence, exchanged that high place of ultimate authority, for the form of a lowly man that He had originally created perfect.  In doing so, He lost nothing of His glory, power, and authority.

Remember the Mount of Transfiguration?  There on that mount, Jesus lifted back the fleshy veil that covered His glory and Peter, James, and John did not want to move from that place. This is our eternal haven, basking in the Glory of the Son and being One with Him as He governs the affairs of the universe.  Awesome.

Notice with me Ps. 8:5-6, “For you have made Him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.  You made him to have dominion over the works of works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.”

Why is man been so endowed with such a high place of glory and honor as God's image bearer on planet earth? For it was the glory of God the Father to raise man above and beyond the earth realm to the heights of heaven at some point in the future to the eternal state with His Son.  We must believe that the reality of Adam's sin did no way contradict the plan of God to eternally commune with “mankind” through His Son.  That all believing men and women and children will be eternally with G-d inside of all that is God -- as God.

Col.3:1-4 "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Jesus, by making man propitious and glorious through His earthly obedience, prepared the way through His glorious incarnation, when He did so, did not reduce any of His Power and authority, no, He perfectly maintained His authority as G-d's Son by being an obedient servant of His Father's will to enter our realm in the dignity of the original man, made in G-d's image but with G-d's power to obey perfectly.

---

How then, my dear friends, will we gain our authority today in God?  Simply by walking as He walked through the endued power of His Spirit as we by faith access His eternal work by faith. We come to this place by falling on our cross of self-government and by letting His resurrection power perform in us the grace of what Jesus did for us in His perfect life. We must die to self and become a bond-slave of God to gain this power to live above our circumstances.

We must give up on ourselves and our proclaimed righteousness, die to our high place as our own god, to deny our regal place on planet earth as a man verses an animal and do what animal has the sense to do but to “die” to our self-aggrandizing plans as men, take on the form of bond-slave, and in turn, become like Jesus conformed to God's image in the place of self-resignation.

In the same manner as Jesus came as a baby, so must we, as a son or daughter of G-d, become brand new.   Jn.3:5, “I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.”  It is a rebirth in every possible way!

This is the order of the eternal way -- life itself.  By our confession of His Name and our trust in His power to save us from our sins, you and I gain the same powerful origin in the Father, His eternal life enters our never dying soul, at that point of supernaturally derived and genuine faith, at this point we enter into life and we will truly never die.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
 Jn. 10:10

Our ultimate destiny is in G-d, to ultimately go back to Him - Our Creator.  He is the source of all things so He to is the terminus of all things.  We must seek with all of our hearts to occupy a place inside of G-d, to be ONE with G-d. To be sons of G-d.

Look again at Col.3:1-4, ”If you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of G-d.  Set your mind on things above, not things on the earth.  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in G-d.  When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”

We are stepping into some really deep water as we allow these thoughts to ruminate in our soul. As G-d's sons and daughters we are connected to our older Brother Christ Jesus forever, by virtue and only by virtue of our very real and living faith in Him.

Where does that place you and me?

Make no mistake on this point, what we have obtained by faith as a child of the Living G-d is so big, so boundlessly massive, that words of any language pale in providing the proper understanding of our inheritance in Him.  Forever in the G-d with Christ.  Seated in heavenly places forever to enjoy the perfections of all that is pure and right, forevermore!

Heb.2:11-13, “For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, 'I will declare Your name to My brethren, In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to you.'  And again, 'I will put My trust in Him,'  And again, 'Here I am and the children whom G-d has given Me.  Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood.  He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.”

Skip down to verse 16, “For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.”

In our new position in Christ, our elder brother, we are now inside the being of God the Father who loved us and bought us with the eternal blood of His only begotten Son to dwell with Him forever. He is a forever God. This is how be get a seat with Him on His throne in heavenly places. When He took on our likeness, human flesh, and associated with our weakness and overcame them by being faithful and perfect in all His doings.   By virtue of this mighty work, we now obtain rightful inheritance with Him as a glorified human now seated at the right hand of the Father.

Our destiny is so incredible.  We have this inheritance already if we have the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is our down payment of the ultimate place we inherit.  We will judge the world in righteousness and all the angels of God, with Jesus.

Why do I make such a big deal about the understanding of our position in God?

Why am I laboring so to make the point about the identity of Jesus Christ?  If you miss this, you will miss it all!  We are living in a time when the enemy of our souls will be working extra hard to deceive the nations that Jesus was not God's Only begotten Son that He is here again wanting us to believe He is ruling through the will of the Anti-christ's false son, that the historical Jesus was just a great prophet or a good man pointing to the false Christ.

We will see the confusion that the typical teaching fostered by the Catholic church regarding the doctrine of the Trinity. In this teaching we have to be careful not to diminish the only God the Father to something like unto the false 3-headed heathen gods of Rome and Egypt.

If Jesus is anything less than G-d's Son, He cannot save us!  We are doomed!  In the days ahead, more and more men will compromise on the fact of all facts, that Jesus was God's only begotten Son and is with the Father now and forevermore!  Don't fall for the lies of His appearing in any fashion less than as the King of the Universe, He will come back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Hold fast to your faith in the original historical person of Jesus who is also the anointed Christ of Father.

He came to give His life a ransom for many.  To save us not only from our sins and eternal judgment, but to make us just like Him, as the new Adam of G-d.  He is our governor now, not the old Adam with our birth in sin and death, but our now in our surety-ship and governorship we are solidly based in the new Adam -- Jesus Christ. Forever we will worship Him before and in His Eternal throne.

Rev. 5:8-14 "Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
9  And they sang a new song, saying:

"You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."  Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!" And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"

Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever."

No wonder the angels were singing like crazy as His birth on the hills of Palestine... they knew what we was coming to all of us who believe.

So when Jesus was birthed from the womb of Mary, God's Son knew exactly the content of His holy assignment from the Father.  There was and eternal, very intimate, cooperation before the creation of man. Amazing.

If no cooperation between the Father and His only Son we would have no creation of Adam due to the reality of his future sinful decision to disobey the Lord's simple command to not eat the fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The Father established a plan and His Son was eternally conceived birthed to perform the work of eternal salvation for mankind. The Son of G-d was created by and in G-d the Father to save humans.

Therefore the person of Jesus is the only real and true connection to heaven.  He is the way, the truth, and the life.  He is the door, quite profoundly, He is the only door to heaven, perfect life, and peace!

He came to reveal the Father's heart to all men no matter what nationality or culture.  All men will see His exploits as King of kings one day soon.  This Gospel of the Kingdom of G-d and Jesus Christ as L-rd of the Kingdom will be preached to all nations and then the end will come.  (Mt.24:14)

He waits for us to wake up to what He is so concerned about -- the salvation of men.

This meditation should reveal that we must have the mind of Christ in order to gain a beautiful and saving understanding of the salvation that has been wrought for us from the Father.

Our meditations on the amazing truth place us in good company, our forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and all the holy men of this historical faith also meditated on the same glorious things and the words they heard from the Angel of YHWH in ancient times.

See youtube channel "livinlattes" search for videos on Angel of the Lord. In these videos we briefly discuss the reality of the Christ before He became flesh and dwelt among us. We learn that all the ancients knew about the glory of G-d in the face of Our Messiah.

Only the Spirit of G-d can impart the understanding of which I speak and write.  In Rom. 8:11, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

A right understanding of work of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is very central to our faith and to our salvation.  If we let this truth slip into any form of gnostic thought, as our 1st century forefathers experienced, and take our focus off the person and work of Jesus and instead place our focus on the peripheral issues of church life, such as, the quality of our worship music, healing the sick, speaking in tongues, our building, our style of preaching, and our outreach and evangelism methods, so on and so forth.

In these dark times the ministry that take great care in putting all their attention on the Chief Cornerstone of the church - Jesus Christ, will have a real value no matter how many frequent their gatherings.

If we lose context of the identity of the Chief Cornerstone of the temple of G-d made without hands, we put at peril our eternal inheritance.  He will not bless our work eternally, we may experience some temporary rewards in this life, but they will not survive the fire of His judgment.

Cor. 3:11-14, “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which his Jesus Christ.  Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.  If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.”

Let not the rationality of man rule our minds, if you allow human reason and logic to rule your mind, you will lose your way.  Only the Spirit of God merging with your spirit can communicate these sacred things.  We must be born again in order to commune with God in spirit and truth.

If you trust in your mind, stagnation will set into your heart and you will resort to human techniques to build and prepare the Bride for the Great Wedding Day coming very soon. Your work will be fruitless and void of blessing.  It will not survive the fire of His judgment, you will lose your reward, you may be saved but you will not carry great rewards with you to eternity.

Let us just agree that it is good for Our Father to come and prune our lack of understanding.  It is then and only then that we will thrive in the way of living the life we have been called to live in Christ serving in His kingdom and on His earth.  Our depth of understanding will make our journey to glory that much more enjoyable, especially when the long dog days come.  When we wrestle with the truth of Jesus in all of His identity and work, we discover aspects of the truth that will inspire us to preach the Message with more authority, with greater pathos, and we will persevere to the end, even though many afflictions and trials assail us!

We must hold fast to the actual teaching of scripture of the supernatural creation of man or we just might lose our way in Jesus Christ – the very son of God.  That God, through the Word, breathed the breath of life, eternal life, into the soul of man, and did so at the point of his exercise of true faith, this for all of time and eternity, to have us as co-heirs with His Son.

In the new birth we possess eternity in our hearts through His indwelling our being. If we take hold of the tree of life found in the person and work of Jesus Christ we will grow in grace and knowledge of Him. The knowledge of God increases our faith and our ability to extend our reach into the dark places in this world. Oh how sad things get when men do not protest the foolishness of people who deny the proper place of Our Messiah -- Jesus Christ.

We cannot, and we will not, suffer any compromise on these very essential life and death points of doctrine of our faith!

In Much Earnestness,

Jonathan
